This page describes how the website processes the personal data of the visitors who consult the site.
This information is provided pursuant to section 13 of Italian Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 – Personal Data Protection Code – to everyone who interacts with the web services on the MagNews site which can be accessed from the address: http://www.magnews.it.
1. DATA CONTROLLER
The data controller is Maurizio Fionda, CEO of the company Diennea, whose registered office is in viale G. Marconi 30/14, 48018 Faenza (RA), Italy.
2. PREMISES WHERE THE DATA ARE PROCESSED
The data collected in connection with this website are processed at the above-mentioned head office of the company Diennea and are handled exclusively by data-processing staff and/or data processors appointed by the data controller, as well as the data controller in person. Users’ personal data may be processed in whole or in part at the premises of third party housing service providers, such as: Telecom Italia S.p.A. data centre in via Toscana, 3 -20089- Rozzano (MI) and the Acantho data centre in via Mulino Rosso, 8 – 40026 Imola (BO). No data arising from the web service shall be communicated or disclosed.
3. PURPOSES
Data are processed for the purposes of sending newsletters, carrying out marketing activities, processing statistical analyses and performing profiling and market research. Consent for the above-mentioned activities is considered on an individual basis.
4. TYPES OF DATA PROCESSED
Navigation Data
The IT systems and software procedures for running this website acquire, in the ordinary course of operations, some personal data whose forwarding is implied in the use of Internet communication protocols.
This information is not collected for the purpose of being associated with identified interested parties; however on account of its nature, it may lead to the user being identified by processing and reference to data held by third parties.
This information includes IP addresses or domain names of the computers used to connect to the website, URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) addresses of resources requested, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file obtained in response, the numerical code that indicates the response status given by the server (ok, error etc.) and other parameters concerning the user’s operating system and IT environment. These data are used for the sole purpose of obtaining anonymous statistical information on the use of the website and to check that it is working properly. The data may be used to establish liability in the event of hypothetical IT crimes that could damage the site.
Data supplied voluntarily by the user
The optional, specified and voluntary forwarding of electronic mail to the addresses shown on this website entails the subsequent acquisition of the sender’s address, which is needed to reply to any enquires, as well as other personal data that may be contained in the message.
Concise informative notices shall be progressively posted or viewed on the pages of the site which are set aside for the request of special services.

Data are processed by the data processing staff or data processors appointed by the data controller, as well as the data controller in person.
Security measures have been put into place when handling these data to guarantee confidentiality. These measures will be upgraded in compliance with the appropriate laws and regulations.
7. COMMUNICATING DATA
Personal data may be made available to all those persons who need to receive the data in order to correctly fulfil the purposes referred to in point 3. A detailed list of the appointed data processors and third parties whom the data may be communicated to shall be provided by Diennea upon specific request to the address privacy@magnews.it.
8. DISCLOSING DATA
Personal data shall not be communicated or disclosed to any third parties, private or public, except in aggregate and anonymous form.
9. TRANSFERRING DATA ABROAD
Personal data may be transferred to countries within and outside the European Union for the purposes referred to in point 3.
10. DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS
The data subjects to whom the personal data refer are entitled to exercise their rights at any time as described in section 7 of Italian Legislative Decree No. 196/2003.
The data subject is entitled to: request confirmation from the data controller whether any personal data are held that relates to him/her and to be notified of their contents in an intelligible form; the data subject is entitled to obtain details of the origin of the data, the purposes and methods of the processing, the logic applied when processing data, the identity of the data controller and the people who the data may be disclosed to; the data subject is also entitled to update, correct and complete the data, demand they be deleted, made anonymous or that data held in violation of law be blocked; the data subject is entitled to object to the processing of his/her data on legitimate grounds.
