The idea came to light during the project to launch a new website. Why not ask the users themselves what they think and find out which services are the most popular?

The company wanted to develop a better understanding and analyse the expectations and preferences of the users of its website as regards the services and content it offered, because Star has always been attentive to its consumers' needs and desires. The MagNews staff worked with Star to create and conduct an ad hoc survey to assess consumer preference.
The survey was studied carefully to ensure it reflected the aims: to gain an insight into what customers were thinking and to test consumer reaction to the services it was considering. The questions were carefully formulated and the whole project was designed to be simple and lightweight. MagNews came up with a turnkey solution which took the idea, developed it into a survey, sent it out and then generated the reporting.
The campaign turned out to be a great time and energy saver in a campaign whose aim was to create opportunities for Star to speak and listen to its consumers. Star used the Internet to connect with its subscribers. The result was a space which the users considered their own because they had been instrumental in creating it with their opinions.
Results
The survey was a great success and allowed Star to learn more about the opinions of its users, as requested in the original brief. The reports generated by the MagNews staff enabled the company to obtain essential information for future branding campaigns.

74% of users who clicked on the e-mail completed the survey.
